Two of the remaining 27 Saab 9-5NG SportCombis are currently located in the Czech Republic: a Jet Black TtiD Aero and a Laser Red Linear with the same engine and (manual) gearbox. Home to both unicorns is Saab Suchomel, a Saab Service Centre with a special passion for the 9-5NG and the 9-4X.
The only Laser Red
Although any Saab 9-5NG SportCombi is special, VIN YS3GN5MK6C9000019 is a real unicorn, as it is the only remaining car in Laser Red. It attracted extra attention from the Swedish motor press when Teknikens Värld test drove the car and covered it in an extensive article.

The Jet Black Aero with VIN YS3GR5MK7C9000003 actually has more siblings in black (5 in this color are remaining) but with the 20″ Turbo Star rims fitted, the car looks exceptional.

At the upcoming “Pilots Wanted” event at Autohaus Lafrentz in Kiel, Germany, more unicorns can be seen! Unfortunately none of the Czech cars, but it will be a great gathering in any case…
