Pilots Wanted 2018: A Record Event

The third edition of the bi-annual “Pilots Wanted” event organized by Autohaus Lafrentz in collaboration with Orio and Saabblog.net was a great success. A record number of the latest generation Saabs participated with pilots from more than 10 different European countries. Apart from 6 Saab 9-5NG SportCombis and nearly 50 9-5NG Sedans, a whopping number of 9 Saab 9-4Xs made it to Kiel Germany last week.

To Navigate or not, that’s the question!

When I bought my “#17” in December 2012, it came with a well-functioning radio. In fact, this radio is probably one of the best basic units SAAB ever fitted, but it had two main issues: it had a not-so-very-beautiful green screen and didn’t have GPS/navigation capabilities. Upgrading to the high end touch screen system however was reported to be next to impossible, but after consulting with the team at Authaus Lafrentz in Kiel, it turned out it could be done anyway!

Pilots Wanted 2014 Kiel, Saab 9-5NG Meeting

Saab Midsommar, Pilots Wanted 2014. This weekend we were given a unique opportunity to see many of the latest generation of Saab 9-5 in Kiel (Germany) at Autohaus Lafrentz. 35 9-5NG cars gathered including 8 sportcombi´s.

In Germany there is a great group of Saab owners with a enormous passion for this brand. This Saab meeting was a collaboration between Autohaus LafrentzSaabblog.net and the sponsors: Orio Parts GermanyTriboron.de, Till, Cardyourcar.eu. Many thanks to all of you and also the participants in this meeting making this made this unique event possible.
